Post-doctoral position: Regulation of Neuronal T-type Calcium Channels
Project: A post-doctoral position in neuronal calcium channel research is available in the research group of Norbert Weiss “Ion Channels and Diseases” in Prague (http://theweisslab.com). We are looking for a well-trained and highly motivated individual with skills in patch-clamp electrophysiology. The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in projects aimed at delineating the functioning of low-voltage-activated T-type calcium channels and their implication in neurological disorders. He/she will be involved in electrophysiological studies in cultured cell lines and primary neurons.
Candidate: Competences in patch-clamp recordings are a prerequisite. Experience in isolation and culture of primary neurons from rodents, basic molecular biology and cell culture, and confocal imaging microscopy will be an added advantage.
Position: The position is for 2 years and available immediately or until filled.
Application: Interested candidates should send a complete resume/CV, a description of research interests, and the names and contacts information of 2-3 references directly by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
